📅Newsletter edition – Thursday 29th April.

🚨Mumbai Police, the police department of the city of Mumbai, is currently one of the most underrated social media accounts around.
🚨Here, they’ve used Disney’s Cinderella to communicate a very important message – that it’s a ‘sin’ to leave your masks behind, replacing the famous glass slipper with a mask.
🔗 Check them out on Instagram – you won’t be disappointed!

🎵 Mumbai Police – they’re so good on social at the moment, I just had to feature them twice! Here, they’ve tapped into familiar pop songs to remind people about the Covid restrictions.
🎵 It cleverly incorporates song lyrics and their artists to get the serious message across. My particular favourite is, ‘Go GAGA – But At Home!’
🎵They’ve called the campaign ‘Lyrics Of Safety’ – they’re on a roll, check out their latest posts featuring Ed Sheeran, Linkin Park and Harry Styles.

🏆Barbie, fashion doll manufactured by Mattel, jumped on the #Oscars conversation with this Quote Retweet of Chloe Zhao being the first woman of colour and the second woman ever to win the Academy Award for directing.
🏆The post fits perfectly with their empowering and positive Tone of Voice, encouraging its fans that ‘#YouCanBeAnything.’

😺 Larry the Number 10 Downing Street cat, (a hilarious parody account) has been news-jacking the latest hot topic – how Boris Johnson has funded the refurbishment of his Downing Street flat.
😺Larry’s been getting quite insulting too, with tweets like, “I’m fine with the notion that the Prime Minister not live in a skip; it would just be nice if he didn’t always look like he’d woken up in one.”
