š¶ Nickelodeon – the worldās leading entertainment network for kids, took a break from its playful content to speak out against racist attacksĀ against Asian Americans.
Ā
š¶Nickelodeon’s strategy is to connect with kids as well as the previous generation through nostalgic content (remember Rugrats, Hey Arnold and Doug?)Ā So this post was well-placed to be noticed. Parents and older siblings would have been able to use this topical post as an opportunity to educate their kids about what’s happening in the real world…right before an episode of Spongebob Squarepants.Ā

šNASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration is a U.S. government agency responsible for science and technology related to air and space. ItsĀ Perseverance Mars Rover made a successful landing last week. But that wasn’t the only star of the show!
šIndian-American scientist Swati Mohan led the guidance, navigation, and control operations of the mission. Many of the ‘lady with the bindi’ tweets went viral – users thanked her for rocking the red dot, saying that they had once been bullied for wearing the same.
šShe’s more than a bindi – she immigrated to the US from India at age 1, was inspired by Star Trek at 9, then earned a B.S from Cornell in mechanical and aerospace engineering and an M.S. and PhD from MIT in aeronautics.

š¤NASA’sĀ Mars 2020Ā Perseverance roverĀ is currently looking for signs of past microbial life, cache rock and soil samples, and preparing for future human exploration.
š¤ NASA’s Perseverance rover’s Twitter account is an absolute delight to follow. Tweeting in a first-person voice, it updates its 2.2m followers about its latest findings through whimsical yet educational thoughts like: “Busy, busy. What Iāve been up to since landing, you ask? Well, quite a bit.” You can’t but help root for the robot out there, all alone(?).
šGo give it a follow.

ā Breakthrough Party isĀ a political progressive, grassroots movement that is powered by the people, for the people.Ā
šThis cheeky David Attenborough narrated video of Boris Johnson disinfecting a chair at a mass vaccination centre has gone viral. Its attracted comments like:𬠓In almost any situation where a politician is doing a stunt in a crisis or emergency situation, there are valuable resources being wasted facilitating the photo op.”
šSound on for this one, watch the video here.

š Innocent DrinksĀ produces smoothies and juice and is sold in supermarkets, coffee shops and various other outlets.
š This cheeky little post went viral on LinkedIn after a user walked straight into Innocent’s cunning plan. She shared a photo of the carton’s ‘bottom’ which read, ‘stop looking at my bottom.’
šIf you see people in supermarkets turning these cartons upside down, you’ll know why.
